Best Parking in the West End

(By which I mean, “Cheapest parking in the West End.”) Parking around El Centro was expensive. Some places charged about $10 a morning, and getting a monthly subscription could be tricky if your timing wasn’t right. If you didn’t mind walking about one-third of a mile, I recommended the city-owned lot where I parked. At the time, it cost me $2 a day during regular work hours; my usual parking times were 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

I also recommended the ParkMobile app for City of Dallas parking, including parking meters. It allowed reminders and, in many cases, additional parking time to be purchased remotely. The original post included an embedded Google map for the lot at 703 McKinney Ave. in Dallas.
