Eight legacy pages are consolidated into one canonical portfolio at /portfolio/journalism-media/:

The consolidated page is content_type: portfolio, subject Journalism & Media, and Featured. It preserves the professional history without rebuilding the old nested WordPress navigation or treating eight thin pages as eight current destinations.
Provenance and evidence
Existing GitHub posts were used when available. Missing historical bodies and portfolio context were recovered from the scoped paco.org Google Drive archive, including preserved WordPress HTML/API snapshots. Archival media remain in Google Drive unless a verified production copy is required by the current site.
No DELETE material was used as a production source. The EI-1.3/EI-1.5 privacy boundary remains unchanged.
Editorial decisions
Featured status is intentionally selective. Five of the seven rewritten essays are Featured; the video collection and Flash artifact remain discoverable but are not flagship pieces. The consolidated Journalism & Media portfolio is Featured as the canonical representation of the retained professional-media material.
Historical publication dates remain the post dates. Substantive rewrites use original_date and revised_date: 2026-08-08 so modernization does not overwrite provenance.
